Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Born in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. Her name could be also stylized by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 and received great reviews from both music bloggers and the media. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was made for an advertisement for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is the Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry's praise for the song Runaway on her blog added to the musician's recognition. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard within her loft and being fascinated by its music. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music for the sake of personal development, and not for the purpose of making money or for as a hobby. As a result, she started writing the music she composed herself. Her influences include renowned writers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her affinity with Bjork's style. She decided to start performing her songs publicly when her mother suggested that they might help others not to gain fame with her music, but rather to help those around them see the importance of their work and how they could impact the world. As a young girl, she began to play the piano, and when she was nine began writing her own songs. They didn't even know until the age of fourteen. Aurora did not have a set goal. The only thing she loves is writing songs. She says that music is her most preferred way to feel anything.
